I love Indonesia. I love the warmth, the beautiful lands, the delicious food, but most of all I love the people. Their generosity and kindness never fails to astound me.
On my last trip to Lombok I met the amazing girls from Bersahara, a women’s empowerment facilitation group working in the south of Lombok. I joined them for an afternoon side project of English lessons with some of the village children. I am so excited to head back there in August to work further alongside this project.
Back in 2010 while exploring Europe I worked as a photographer at Vinjerock, a small adventure music festival in the mountains of Norway. It was by far the most amazing festival I have ever attended and it has just recently been voted as one of the best festivals by the people of Norway.
I was happy to have one of my images published in the article in the Norwegian SmiS magazine. Although I can’t read anything besides the numbers and the photo credit I’m gathering it’s mentioning the general awesomeness of the festival. If any of you are in Norway over their summer months I would definitely recommend booking ahead and going along.
